The Alpha Fund is a fund designed to support the development of early-stage products, systems, and services. These funds can be used to build the proposed solution and/or prepare it for market testing. This fund is open to:
All Northeastern University alumni (this includes Mills College and New College of the Humanities)

Congratulations Phoenix Tailings!

At our Epic NUCEE celebration a few weeks ago Nick Meyer, Husky and co-founder of Phoenix Tailings announced they just closed a $25 Million round. Nick was also one of the founders of Mosaic Org Huntington Angels Network, a student-run organization whose mission is 
to grow the Northeastern venture community by connecting vetted and investment-ready start-ups to a global investor network of angel investors and venture capital firms.

  • Women Who Empower Awards Applications Open in 2025!
    The Women Who Empower Innovator Awards recognize bold, creative changemakers in Northeastern’s vast entrepreneurial ecosystem—and provide them with capital, resources, and networks to elevate their ideas, products, businesses, and brands.

  • The Lab For Inclusive Entrepreneurship’s 4th Cohort is taking registrations! This 20-week fellowship program, scheduled from March 10 to July 25, 2025, is designed to support 10 small business owners from Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Participants will gain valuable skills to enhance their market strategy and leadership abilities. More here.

  • Generate is taking client applications! Want them to help you build your hardware or software project? Each semester, this MOSAIC & Sherman Center Student-led organization partners with clients, assisting them in developing the vision and a prototype of their product. Apply here.

Great conversations, highlighting the fact that there are so many commonalities with what entrepreneurs need to thrive no matter where they are in the 🌎.

Great fun at the Global Consortium Of Entrepreneurship Centers

Associate Director of Mosaic Marina Watanabe, PhD led a conversation on building and supporting student-led experiential entrepreneurship and sharing our good humans sound ventures world leaders approach.

Managing Director Marie Meslin collaborated with center directors Elaine Chen of Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts University (DEC) Siobhan Dullea of Innovate@BU & Katie Hemphill of Northeastern University Center for Research Innovation (CRI) in a packed and interactive session on innovative collaboration and building (joyful) networks and stronger support.
